In my dreams time rewinds
not far, but far enough
where everything in reality now
could be a different reality
one where i had courage in time
where everything would be different
but for now wishes will
remain as just wishes and
maybe at another time and place
dreams will come true
a dreamer that dreams
will be just fine for maybe
it is it the dreamers in life
who are stronger at heart
yet also have the most fear
despite being able to reach
for the yellow moon or
the twinkling white stars
i remained placid until
it was much too late
for fear is an entrapment
with more courage required
to be made for each subtle chance
each subtle glance at the
mysterious future which
so fervently lies ahead
in a time not far from now
things have the chance
to become that what we
wish for, what we long for
in another time and place
if things like fate and
serendipity really do exist
then we will happen
but for me at least
i hope we get the chance
before you go trying
to catch your own stars
and i not long after
go chasing after mine
but even if it takes
an entire lifetime, one
day i know, we'll
wish upon the same
twinkling star
and dreams will come true
